2021+ Ford F-150 Fitment Guide (14th Gen): Bolt Pattern, Wheel & Tire Sizes
Updated June 2026 · Originally published Jul 2022Every 14th generation Ford F-150, from 2021 through today's trucks including the 2024 refresh, runs a 6x135mm bolt pattern with an 87.1mm hub bore and M14x1.5 lug nuts torqued to 150 lb-ft. Even the electric Lightning kept the pattern. Stock suspension swallows 33s with the right offset. For 35s, a leveling kit gets you close and a 3 inch lift makes it easy.
Whether you picked up a 2021 when the 14th gen was new or you're driving a refreshed 2024 or newer, this is your truck's guide. Ford has kept the fitment consistent across the whole generation, so a setup that works on a 2021 XLT works on a 2025 Lariat. That's good news for you and great news for the used market.
The even better news: Ford gave this generation roomy wheel wells. This is the friendliest F-150 yet for big rubber, and 33s fit at stock height without drama. Here's everything that clears, at every suspension height, with the exact setups we mount and ship most.

Lightning, Raptor and PowerBoost: What Changes
F-150 Lightning
The electric truck kept the 6x135 pattern and 87.1mm bore, so plenty of wheels cross over. Everything else is its own story. The Lightning weighs well over 6,000 pounds, so proper load-rated tires are non-negotiable, and its independent rear suspension means the lift-kit world is completely different from gas trucks. If you're building a Lightning, call us first and we'll spec it right.
Raptor
Wider fenders, long-travel suspension, and 35s from the factory (37s if you optioned them). The Raptor doesn't need this guide's math, since it clears more tire stock than most lifted trucks. Raptor owners typically shop bead-lock style wheels in 17s with high-clearance offsets.
PowerBoost hybrid
Fitment is identical to the gas trucks. The hybrid battery lives under the bed floor and doesn't touch wheel clearance, so every recommendation on this page applies as-is.
What Fits on Stock Suspension
This generation is generous at stock height. The most popular no-lift setup is a 20x9 +1 wheel with 33x12.5R20 tires, a true 33 that fits without touching the suspension. That was a leveling-kit setup on the last generation. On this one it's a bolt-on.
| Style | Wheels | Tires |
|---|---|---|
| Small Wheel, Big Tire | 18x9 +20 | 275/70R18 |
| Daily Driver | 20x9 +1 | 33x12.5R20 |
| Big Wheel, Small Tire* | 22x10 -18 | 305/40R22 |
*May require plastic trimming.
What Fits With a Leveling Kit
A leveling kit cancels the factory rake and buys room for 34-inch-tall rubber up front. The combo we build most is 20x9 +20 with 295/60R20, like the Fuel Tech and Ridge Grappler pairing above.
| Style | Wheels | Tires |
|---|---|---|
| Small Wheel, Big Tire | 18x9 -12 | 285/65R18 |
| Daily Driver | 20x9 +20 | 295/60R20 |
| Big Wheel, Small Tire* | 22x10 -19 | 33x12.5R22 |
*May require plastic trimming.
What Fits With a 3-Inch Lift
Three inches of lift is where wide wheels with negative offset join the party. The most popular setup for this generation is 20x10 -19 with 33x11.5R20, exactly what's on the Hostile Sprocket build above.
| Style | Wheels | Tires |
|---|---|---|
| Small Wheel, Big Tire | 18x9 0 | 33x12.5R18 |
| Daily Driver | 20x10 -19 | 33x11.5R20 |
| Big Wheel, Small Tire* | 22x12 -44 | 33x12.5R22 |
*Requires plastic trimming.
What Fits With a 4 to 6-Inch Lift
Four to six inches of lift and the truck stops negotiating. Wheels over 10 inches wide clear cleanly, and 35s become the default rather than the goal. The crowd favorite: 20x10 -24 with 35x12.5R20.
| Style | Wheels | Tires |
|---|---|---|
| Small Wheel, Big Tire | 18x9 +1 | 35x12.5R18 |
| Daily Driver | 20x10 -24 | 35x12.5R20 |
| Big Wheel, Small Tire* | 22x10 -19 | 35x12.5R22 |
*Requires the full 6″ lift.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's the bolt pattern on a 2021+ F-150?
6x135mm with an 87.1mm hub bore, and it's the same for every year of the 14th generation: 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, and the current trucks, including the post-refresh models and the Lightning. Lug nuts are M14x1.5 at 150 lb-ft.
Does the 2024 refresh change any fitment?
No. The 2024 update was styling and tech, not architecture. Bolt pattern, hub bore, lug hardware, and clearances carry over, so everything in this guide applies to the refreshed trucks the same as a 2021.
Will 35s fit a 2021+ F-150?
With a 4 inch or taller lift, 35s fit cleanly on a 20x10 around -24 offset. Some leveled trucks run 34s with minor trimming, and a few brave souls squeeze 35s on a level with fender work, but the lift is the clean path. At stock height, 33s are the smart ceiling.
What's the biggest tire at stock height?
A 33, and it fits better on this generation than any F-150 before it. The proven combo is 33x12.5R20 on a 20x9 +1 wheel. Ford's roomier 14th gen wheel wells did the hard work already.
Do 2015-2020 F-150 wheels fit my 2021+?
Yes. Same 6x135 pattern, same 87.1mm bore, same M14x1.5 lug thread, so wheels swap freely between the two generations. Confirm the offset works with your suspension height and you're set. See the 2015-2020 fitment guide for that truck's numbers.
