BMW E9X 3 Series Wheel Fitment Guide

When it comes to BMW, the E9X platform is one of the most popular cars on the road. This body style runs from 2007 - 2013 and with so many different models, it can be hard to find wheels that fit properly. We often see a pretty even mixture of staggered and square setups so we'll dive into a couple of options for both.

For those of you that don't know the difference between a square and staggered setup, please see the definitions below.
- Staggered - A wheel setup where the rear wheels are a different size than the front wheels.
- Square - A wheel setup where the front and rear wheels are the same sizes.
What You Need to Know:
- Bolt Pattern: 5x120
- Wheel Diameter Range: 17 - 20 inches
- Wheel Width Range: 8 - 11 inches
Starting off the list we have an E90 Sedan that keeps a simple and clean look. This car is running a set on 19x9.5 +35 ESR SR05 wheels wrapped in a set of 225/35 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 tires. This combination results in a very small amount of stretch that looks perfect when paired with the BC Racing Coilovers that this car has installed. Let's take a closer look at this build.
Wheels - ESR SR05

Tires - Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 225/35

Suspension-BC Racing Coilovers
The suspension on this car is BC Racing Coilovers.
BC Racing is one of the largest dealers of custom and pre-built suspension products. Founded in 2006, they now offer over 1100 different suspension kits. Their product line includes springs, coilovers, struts, and multiple other replacement parts.
Square Setup #2
Wheels-Kansei KNP 18x9.5 22
The wheels on this build are the Kansei Knp in Gunmetal in a 18x9.5 22.
A performance wheel brand motivated by a passion for design, simplicity, and quality. Kansei shot to fame almost immediately and has continued to grow since. With their Formlite process, they are able to achieve a thinner, lighter, and stronger back half of the wheel giving their wheels the desired strength to weight ratio.
These are a one-piece, alloy wheel with a 5-spoke design and exposed lug nuts. They are one of Kansei’s most popular choices and are available in a variety of sizes, finishes, and bolt patterns.
Tires- Federal 595 Rs-rr 275/35
A Taiwan-based manufacturer, Federal’s story begins in 1954. Federal is an award-winning tire company that works with innovation in mind. They make reliable tires for almost any vehicle and almost any occasion and are recognized for their unbeatable low prices on their tires. Car and truck enthusiasts love to run Federals for the price and quality that they present.
The 595 Rs-rr is known for its race abilities. They claim to provide faster lap time and a better dry grip than the competition. It has a silica-infused tread and flame-shaped grooves to enhance grip and durability and decrease aquaplaning.
The coilovers on this build are by Solowerks. We currently do not carry these however we recommend that you check out our other brands of coilovers that we offer, including BC Racing seen above.
Wheels- Haxer HX020 Front 19x9 20, Rear 19x10 15
The wheels seen here are the Haxer HX020, we currently do not have these in stock. However, we recommend that you check out our other 19x9 20 and 19x10 15 wheels so that you can run the exact fitment seen here.
Tires- Federal Ss595 Front 215/35, Rear 235/35
Another Federal tire, we talk a bit about Federal above if you missed that.
